Tess Sentelle is the Graduate Coordinator for the Virginia Tech-Wake Forest University School of Biomedical Engineering & Sciences. 

Tess’s role is to support and guide the graduate students through the entire process of seeking the SBES degree from the time they apply until they graduate.  She oversees student progress at the both the VT and the WFU campuses.  She serves as the primary point of  contact for students on all required departmental and university policies and procedures.  Her administrative duties include application processing, student advising, data management and record-keeping, graduate assistantships, program development, and general problem             solving.  She works closely with the Graduate Program Committee on development of departmental policies and procedures, providing support and assistance as needed.  The Graduate Coordinator is the liaison for interactions of the graduate students with the VT graduate school and oversees all progress to degree paperwork.  She is also  active in recruiting for SBES and contributes to the production of   departmental materials such as marketing flyers, web site content, and the graduate handbook.
