Student Symposium 2013

Our annual Student Symposium is a student run and organized event, including soliciting donations from industry for support. Aside from students, symposium attendance includes both faculty and representatives from industry. The symposium allows students a chance to discuss and present their research to attendees from both campuses, providing a low-stress environment to refine their skills which can be applied at national conventions.

Emma Moran, from WFU Regenerative Medicine states "The SBES symposium provides a unique opportunity to learn about the research of our fellow classmates, leading to rewarding conversations and even collaborations. It is one of the highlights of the SBES program that I've been fortunate to attend for the last three years!"

"The SBES Symposium is a great opportunity to network with industry and learn about the exciting research the other graduate students are working on." Brian Cobb, VT Biomechanics
