Medical Physics Theme Area
Medical Physics courses in SBES will include basic radiation physics, radiation biology, the physics of imaging (X-ray, CT, Nuclear Medicine/PET, and MRI), and the physics of radiation treatment. Because the field of Medical Physics has requirements for certification, the suggested courses below have been designed to meet those requirements. Final course selection should be made in consultation with the student's advisor and committee. An MS degree is not currently offered in Medical Physics.
