The Musculoskeletal Tissue Regeneration (MoTR) Laboratory is now a part of the Rutgers University-New Brunswick's Department of Biomedical Engineering, having recently moved from Virginia Tech University where it was a part of the Virginia Tech-Wake Forest School of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences (SBES).

While at Virginia Tech, the MoTR Lab was located in ICTAS on Stanger (also called ICTAS-I), which is a building located at the corner of Stanger and Turner Streets in Blacksburg, Virginia.

The new location of the MoTR Lab is in the Biomedical Engineering Building of Rutgers University-New Brunswick's Busch Campus.
