The Musculoskeletal Tissue Regeneration (MTR) Laboratory is a part of the Virginia Tech-Wake Forest School of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences (SBES). The MTR laboratory and office space are located in Research Building 15 of the Virginia Tech Corporate Research Center. We primarily focus on the repair and regeneration of tissue, mainly musculoskeletal tissue, through the use of tissue engineering techniques. We also investigate mechanisms of tissue damage and healing and the molecular modeling of structural proteins.
