Biomedical Imaging Track Requirements: (in addition to BME requirements)

PURPOSE:

The Biomedical Imaging Track in the School of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences will provide the student with an extensive background in the major medical imaging modalities including:

Ultrasound
Magnetic Resonance Imaging
X-ray Computed Tomography
Nuclear Medicine
Positron Emission Tomography
X-ray Radiography

Statistical Pattern Recognition or Advanced Image Analysis

Required Ph.D. Courses:

Modality - Specific Advanced Imaging

RESEARCH REQUIREMENTS:

Masters Degree students are required to complete a thesis as part of their degree requirements.  Doctoral students are required to complete a Doctoral thesis as part of their degree requirements.
